Sherre Thomas

Attorney

Sherre Thomas was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. 

She is a graduate of Texas Wesleyan University School of Law and has been licensed to practice law in Texas for more than 20 years. Prior to law school, Sherre graduated with a bachelor's of business administration degree from the University of North Texas.

Sherre began her career with the Dallas County District Attorney's Office and remained there for 20 years. She spent all her 20 years in the Trial Divisions.

At the District Attorney's Office, Sherre was a deputy chief in the Organized Crime Division for a year, and chief of criminal district court Number 5 for three years, but most of her time at the office was spent in the Crimes Against Children Division, where she was a deputy chief for many years. Before retiring from the office, she worked in the Chief of Crimes Against Children Division for four years.

Sherre has tried hundreds of criminal cases in both misdemeanor and felony courts. Her extensive experience at the District Attorney's Office has prepared her for criminal-defense work by knowing how to properly evaluate cases and how to effectively negotiate with prosecutors.
