Claudia Montani

Born in Detroit, Michigan, Claudia Montani was raised in the DFW Metroplex in a Spanish speaking household, surrounded by the food and culture of her Argentinian parents. She attended St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, where she graduated magna cum laude with a BA in
English/Communications Arts. After a brief stint with Texas Child Protective Services, Ms. Montani obtained her law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law.
Ms. Montani has always been passionate about fighting for the underdog and the disenfranchised. She spent 14 years in the practice of criminal law, beginning in the El Paso
District Attorney’s Office and eventually establishing a successful career as an Assistant Federal Public Defender in the Western and Northern Districts of Texas. After some years working in personal injury, Ms. Montani has returned to criminal defense and is committed to helping clients obtain justice.
Ms. Montani has lived in Oak Cliff since 2009, where she enjoys the many shops, restaurants and activities the area has to offer.
